Job Description

Responsibilities

• Conduct security reviews of new and existing services, including architecture and design evaluations.
• Perform structured threat modeling to identify attack vectors and application security weaknesses.
• Coordinate penetration testing and validate security controls and exploitable vulnerabilities.
• Document, track, communicate, and verify remediation of security findings.
• Advise development teams on secure coding, authentication and authorization, cryptography, and data protection.
• Escalate high-severity issues and support timely remediation aligned with launch timelines.
• Maintain documentation of review outcomes, security decisions, and risk assessments.
• Use automated tools to improve security review efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of non-internship experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation.
• Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent experience.
• Experience solving basic problems by writing code or scripts with some assistance.
• Preferred experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
