Job Summary We are looking for an experienced dental professional to serve as a Dental Assistant Instructor at Milan Institute. In this role you will shape the next generation of dental assistants through instruction, mentorship, and clinical oversight. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lectures, presentations, and demonstrations on topics such as dental anatomy, radiology, infection control, chairside assisting and dental materials. Provide hands‑on laboratory training, helping students develop technical skills and confidence. Supervise and support students during clinical rotations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and professional standards. Assess student progress via exams, assignments and practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback. Stay current with developments in the dental field and incorporate industry trends into the curriculum. Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration and critical thinking. Mentor and advise students on career guidance, study techniques, and overall educational journey. Collaborate with faculty and administration to improve curriculum and instructional methods. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 3‑5 years of experience as a dental assistant in a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques, procedures and best practices. Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex concepts to varied learners. Passion for education and commitment to student success. Ability to give constructive feedback and support student growth. Adaptability to diverse teaching settings and student needs. Current certification or licensure as a dental assistant is preferred but not required. Prior teaching or instructional experience is a plus. Computer skills necessary. Hours and Availability Day and evening positions, with partial work‑from‑home/remote schedule.
